wayne-chair-lowWayne discovered his love of writing at ten years old when he wrote a story about the flowers from his bed sheets coming to life at night for a school assignment. Throughout his teen years, he continued to indulge his hobby in between reading comics, books, and playing Atari. He always hoped to publish a book instead of reading them someday, but the idea remained parked as the many facets of life took precedence.

When his daughter, Sara, was born, the incentive to pursue his twenty-year-old dream launched a roller coaster ride of publishing attempts. After completing five manuscripts on buses and trains while commuting to and from his “day job” in Information Technology, and receiving countless rejections, Wayne realized he needed to do better. He interned with a literary agency and worked hard with beta readers and editors to hone his craft, rewriting a science fiction story, “Visitor” from start to finish. The final result was something amazing.

In addition to reading and writing science fiction and fantasy, Wayne enjoys spending time with his incredible family, walking, helping other aspiring authors, and remaining active in his community. His latest favorite TV show is Grimm, and if you play one of the latest Marvel Universe movies there’s a good chance he’ll stop what he’s doing to watch.

Wayne lives in Northeastern Pennsylvania with his family and five cats. The chaos makes writing an e-mail — let alone a novel — challenging at times, but Wayne would not have it any other way, and is hard at work on his next story, with a lifetime of dreams to catch up to.
