Journeyman teacher in Solace. Hofen’s teacher in Solace until he becomes privately tutored at the guild. Tall, spindly man with a shock of long, black hair. First appears in Book One.
Journeyman Krellus
Brings Hofen to the guild. Was friend’s with Hofen’s father, Bertrand. Becomes Hofen’s mentor.
Journeyman Luntz
Hospitality guild. Manages the Solace peacekeeper kitchen. Helped by apprentices, including Col and Wim. First appears in Book One.
Journeyman Orison
Mean-spirited Solace peacekeeper journeyman bully. Short man with watery eyes, large jowls and sparse dark hair. First appears in Book One.
King Lormud
King of Bellisprodus.
Lake Jundario, Solace
Large lake on the western outskirts of Solace where fishermen go. Hofen was told his father drowned there.
Marcos
Hofen’s first guild roommate and friend. Curly hair. Good friends with Brentor. Likes to shorten names and calls Hofen “Hofe”, and Brentor “Brent”.
Master Banton
Senior Master of the Solace peacekeeper guild. Second-in-command after High-Master Chendor. He was a thin, bearded man. First appears in Book One.
