Aloe Vera: Alzheimer’s Worst Enemy?

Aloe Vera may be more than just soothing plant care.
According to this article, Aloe Vera also contains a special compound called beta-sitosterol that interacts with enzymes pertinent to memory loss and cognitive decline.
It’s important to note that these findings come only from computer simulations so far and have not yet been validated in human trials. Still, if the simulations are reliable, the results point toward a potentially promising outcome.
Aloe Vera isn’t the only natural resource that may help fight this terrible disease. Rosemary and sage contain carnosic acid, which reduces brain inflammation. Inflammation can cause cognitive decline.
Nature offers an incredible range of resources that can help us treat or even prevent disease. We should invest more effort in researching and understanding these natural solutions before relying solely on lab‑made alternatives. There will always be situations where laboratory-developed treatments are the better—or the only—option, but it feels like we haven’t fully done our due diligence in exploring what nature provides first.
